Travel Tip - Camera

Snowboarding equals travel, it is just part of the game whether it is a road trip with the crew or jumping on a plane we have done our fair share of missed connections, lost bags, busted rental cars and excess baggage. So we thought we would give you a tip or two now and then about about making the travel part that little bit easier.

Our first tip is about what camera to pack as digital memories help during those non shred days, now unless you are trying to shoot the next cover of Transworld Snowboarding then all you need is a quality point and shoot digital camera that captures video. This way the camera is not a hassle to take on the hill therefore creating more than enough content for Facebook.

3 things to keep in mind when looking for a camera.

1 - An image stabilizing feature will helps take the shake out of any follow cam footage.
2 - Try and get the widest lens possible it allows for a much better up close riding shot.
3 - Unless you plan on burying the camera in the snow then don't worry about getting a waterproof camera just make sure you keep the camera warm so the battery doesn't die before the day is over.
