A Jason Brown Seven

Jason Brown was a big time snowboarder and just before he left Burton to start up Captia with Blue Montgomery in 2002 he had a Burton pro model. His pro model was part of the Seven line and it was rumored that he was a driving force behind the Seven series when it kicked off in 2000. He wanted to create boards that where still the goods but affordable for the kids, some say this is why he went off to start Capita.

His pro model was dropped in 2001 and was the 157cm length in the Seven series that year. To give his board the personal touch all boards where hand painted by Jason with gold paint at the factory, now that is some dedication.

He was also one of the Burton team riders to embrace their step in system during that time in snowboarding history. Now whether this was just marketing hype or he really dug the system you will have to ask him.

Check out this Jason Brown fan who is still rocking his board in mint condition complete with Burton step ins, I doubt he knows he is riding around on a piece of limited edition art.
