Just got word that the Burton Canadian Open has moved dates. It will now take place on February 2nd to the 8th. This is because of the cancellation earlier this week of the Vail Sessions that normally takes place at this time. So Burton jumped in to grab the prime dates that will also allow riders an easier travel schedule to the World Cup event at Cypress Mountain (Vancouver) the week after these new Open dates.
Who cares about World Cups? No one really, except if you are trying to make the 2010 Winter Olympics as Cypress is the location for all the snowboard events a year later.
