Down Time

Now we all have down time as it comes with the territory of shredding and traveling. To help pass the time here is a couple of websites that stream TV shows and movies. All you need is a decent internet connection and you are all sorted. No need to watch Hills re-runs ever again.


Joost is still in a beta mode so there is the odd bug here and there. But there is a decent selection of shows from music and lifestyle stuff to crazy independent documentary's. You will have to download the Joost application to view the shows.


VBS is the off shoot of the world wide free street press Vice. There are all sorts of mini style documentary's covering anything from skating and surfing to hitching across the USA and the garbage island, all in the Vice style.


YouTube is the old favorite, type anything in and see what comes up. You can find old footage of your favorite vids and even re edits. Plus there is always a video of some guy getting hurt.

There are many more sites out there that are all about streaming TV and movies. Most are free so you will have to put up with some advertising but hey small price to pay to pass hours of hang over time.
